Working with Marsh Creek

Marsh Creek Watersports has been an immersive and exciting place to gain hands-on experience in sports and portrait photography. Located at Marsh Creek State Park in Downingtown, PA, Marsh Creek has been a favorite spot of mine long before taking up my Summer Camp Photographer role. With its beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife, and nonstop water activities, Marsh Creek is the perfect place to relax, explore nature, and take in the beautiful Pennsylvania landscape.

I have been working at Marsh Creek for 3 years, and officially became the Summer Camp Photographer in 2024. Since then, I have had the opportunity to document all the fun our campers have on the water-whether their sailing, kayaking, or paddle boarding, there is never a dull moment on the lake! I’m looking forward to returning this summer to further develop my photography skills and capture even more unforgettable moments on the water! Many of my images have been used for Marsh Creek’s social media posts, helping to emphasize the bright energy and community that comes with Marsh Creek.

Event photography

Working with Keller Willams Real Estate- Exton granted me meaningful hands-on experience in both event and portrait photography. Capturing their 2024 Holiday Party was a memorable opportunity, with each photo reflecting the vibrant energy and warm spirit of the team.

From capturing the beautifully arranged holiday décor and delicious food to photographing the genuine smiles, engaging conversations, and contagious laughter shared among team members, the entire evening was a joy to document.

Personal Photography

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was around 12 or 13 years old. I’ve always found joy in capturing the beauty of everyday life, whether it’s beautiful landscapes, candid moments with family and friends, or simple shots of my daily life. For me, photography is a way to preserve my favorite memories and carry them with me, especially during moments when I need a positive reminder.

I began taking my photography career more seriously in 2023 when I was introduced to Portrait Photography. Enrolling in an intro to Portrait photography class during the Fall semester opened my eyes to technical aspects of a good photo. The skills I developed in that class continue to shape the way I shoot today, and I carry that knowledge with me every time I pick up a camera. However, I am always seeking out new techniques and inspiration, and welcome tips for growth and improvement with open arms.
